Elopement Packages and Pricing

What working with me looks like

When you book with me, you’re not just choosing photography coverage.

You’re getting thoughtful planning support, deep local knowledge, and a steady, flexible presence throughout your entire elopement experience.

My goal is simple: for you to feel prepared, supported, and actually able to enjoy your day.
One of my favorite things is watching couples fully exhale—settling into the moment, knowing everything is handled.

Every elopement package includes:

  • Expert local guidance on choosing locations that work well for YOU - with kids, family members with mobility issues, different seasons, energy levels, etc. I take everything you tell me into consideration.

  • Help building a flexible timeline that allows for breaks, wandering, and real life

  • Thoughtful location scouting with backup plans (because Maine weather does its thing)

  • Permit guidance and officiant sign-off if desired

  • Documentary-style photography focused on real moments, not posing

  • A calm, supportive presence throughout the day

Who these elopement packages are for:

We might be a really good fit if you’re dreaming of an elopement that feels relaxed, meaningful, and actually like you.

  • You want something intentional, but not overly complicated or stressful

  • You care more about the experience than putting on a production

  • You’re drawn to nature and want to spend your day outside in a beautiful place

  • You might be bringing your kids or other family (or considering it) and want them to feel included, not like an afterthought

  • You value having someone steady, prepared, and genuinely helpful guiding you through the process

  • You like the idea of having a plan… but also the freedom to wander, pause, and pivot as needed

This is especially a good fit for couples who want their day to feel grounded, flexible, and family-centered, without sacrificing beauty or intention.

We’re talking MORE than just photography…

Comprehensive Planning

From our first conversation to the final gallery delivery, I help you think through the details so nothing feels overwhelming. I’ll give you guidance and structure so you feel comfortable enough to trust and let your day flow naturally.

Location Scouting and Guiding

I help you choose locations that fit your vision and your logistics, with thoughtful backups built in. On the day of your elopement, I’ll guide you through each location so you can stay present and focused on each other.

Local Expert

I live on Mount Desert Island and work in Acadia year-round. That local knowledge means real insight into seasons, crowds, access, weather patterns, and what locations actually work well for couples and families, not just what looks good on a map.

Activity Ideas and Booking Assistance

Whether your idea of adventure is a short coastal hike, tide pool exploring, paddling, or something seasonal like snowshoeing, I can help brainstorm activities and assist with logistics and bookings.

Vendor Connections

If you’d like help finding an officiant (I’m ordained and happy to sign your marriage license!), florist, or other trusted vendors, I can connect you with people who understand elopements and family-friendly days. No endless searching or cold emails required.

Timeline Creation

Together, we’ll build a timeline that makes sense for you as a couple, your family you’re bringing along, the season, and the experience/vibe you want. I focus on flow and breathing room, so your day feels natural, not rushed.

Print Shop and Album Design

Your photos deserve to live beyond a screen. I offer access to a professional print shop and can help design albums that tell the full story of your day—something tangible your family can return to for years to come.

Online Photo Gallery

You’ll receive a private, beautifully organized online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images easily with friends and family.

What your elopement day can look like:

Every day is a little different, but here’s an example of how things can flow when we build in space and flexibility:

Getting ready
A slow, intentional start, maybe at your cabin, Airbnb, or campsite. Coffee, kids playing, quiet moments before the day begins.

First look or meeting at your ceremony location
Whether you see each other privately in the woods or meet at the coastline, we’ll choose a spot that feels right (and works logistically).

Ceremony
Simple and meaningful. This might include a short hike, a handfasting, your family participating, or just the two of you exchanging vows somewhere beautiful.

Exploring + portraits
We take our time here. Walking, wandering, letting things unfold naturally. This is where a lot of the magic happens, without it feeling like a “photo session.”

Break / reset time
Especially with kids, pets or family members, this matters. Snacks, downtime, maybe heading back to the car or a different location to regroup. We can even split the day into a morning session and evening session if you’d prefer to spend midday relaxing at your Airbnb or hotel.

Second location or activity
This could be tide pooling, a paddle, a boat ride, a short hike, or just catching a different kind of light somewhere else.

Celebration
A picnic, takeout on the rocks, pizza on a dock, donuts with your kids, whatever feels like you.

Sunset / closing moments
We end the day slowly, usually with softer light and a quieter pace.

The biggest thing to know: your day doesn’t need to be packed to be meaningful.

We’ll build something that feels good for you, works for your people, and gives you space to actually enjoy the experience, not just move through it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you help with planning, or just photography?

I’m very hands-on with planning. I’ll help you choose locations, build a flexible timeline, think through logistics (especially with kids), and make sure everything feels doable and aligned with what you want. By the time your day arrives, you’ll feel prepared—but not overplanned.

It really depends on the kind of experience you want.

A shorter day (4 hours or less) is great for something simple and focused in one location.
Longer coverage allows for a more relaxed pace, multiple locations, breaks, and activities.

I’m happy to talk this through with you and help you figure out what fits best, especially if you’re including kids or multiple parts of the day.

What does “documentary-style” photography mean?

It means I’m not going to overly pose or direct you all day.

I’ll give guidance when needed, but my focus is on capturing what’s actually happening- real interactions, movement, emotion, and the in-between moments that make your day feel like yours.

Can we invite a few guests?

Definitely. Elopements can absolutely include a small group of your favorite people.

I’ll help you choose locations that work well for guests (including accessibility, parking, and space), and we’ll build a timeline that keeps things relaxed for everyone involved. Whether it’s just your immediate family or a handful of close friends, we’ll make sure it still feels intentional and not overwhelming.

What if the weather is bad?

Maine weather loves to keep things interesting, so I always plan with flexibility in mind.

I’ll help you choose locations with solid backup options, and we can adjust timing or pivot locations if needed. Some of the most beautiful, memorable days happen in less-than-perfect weather, so the goal isn’t perfection, it’s being prepared. That said, I’m always happen to reschedule to another day if you really hate the weather on your chosen date! I live locally, so I have the flexibility to change the date last minute if preferred.

Do you help with permits and logistics?

Yes. I’ll guide you through any permit requirements and make sure you have what you need for your ceremony location. I also help think through timing, access, and any logistical details that might not be obvious if you’re not local.

How many photos will we receive?

Every elopement is a little different, but you can expect a thoughtfully edited gallery that tells the full story of your day—typically several hundred images for a full-day experience. I promise a minimum of 50 images per hour of coverage.

What if we have no idea where to start?

That’s completely okay, and honestly, really normal! Most couples come to me at the very beginning of the process. You don’t need to have a location picked out or a full plan in place. That’s what I’m here for.

I’ll guide you through everything step by step: helping you figure out what you want your day to feel like, where to go, and how it can all come together in a way that feels simple and doable.

How far in advance should we book?

Most couples book anywhere from 6–18 months in advance, especially for peak season (late spring through fall). That said, if you’re planning something sooner, always feel free to reach out! I can sometimes accommodate shorter timelines, especially if your date is at all flexible.

Can you recommend vendors?

Definitely! I can connect you with officiants, florists, and other vendors who understand elopements and are a great fit for a more relaxed, intentional day. I always prioritize local vendors I know personally and fully trust!

(And I’m ordained, so I can also sign your marriage license if you want to keep things simple.)

When will we receive our photos?

You’ll receive your full gallery within 8 weeks (you can fill this in). I also send a small preview within 48 hours of your elopement so you have something to relive and share right away.

We’re not really “outdoorsy”… is this still a good fit?

100%! Your elopement doesn’t need to be a big adventure or intense hike to be meaningful. Some of the most beautiful days happen in easy-to-access locations, short walks, or even just one really special spot.

I’ll help you choose places that match your comfort level, energy, and what actually feels enjoyable to you. Whether that’s a coastal overlook, a quiet forest path, or somewhere you can drive right up to; you don’t need to be “outdoorsy” to have an incredible elopement in Acadia.

How do we book?

Reach out through my inquiry form and I’ll get back to you with next steps. From there, we’ll connect, talk through your vision, and make sure it feels like a good fit before moving forward.
