ABOUT ME

Hey, I’m Gina

I’m an Acadia-based elopement photographer for couples who want a wedding day that feels relaxed, meaningful, and true to their real lives - kids, family, and all.

Rooted in Acadia

I’m a mom of two and a full-time local on Mount Desert Island. I live here, raise my family here, and got married here in Acadia, too.

This place isn’t just a backdrop to me, it’s home.

Because of that, I approach every elopement with both deep familiarity and a lot of care. I know the tucked-away quiet spaces, the busy times, the weather patterns, and how to make a day feel calm instead of chaotic amongst peak-season energy.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

When you work with me, you’re not just hiring someone to show up and take photos.

I’m here to help you figure things out, make a plan that feels good, and adjust as we go.

Weather shifts. Kids need breaks. Timelines run a little off. None of that stresses me out. I’m used to it, and I’ve got you.

I tend to be calm, practical, and quietly on top of things. I’ll think through the details ahead of time so you don’t have to, and then step back and give you space to actually be present.

No pressure. No overproduction. Just space for things to unfold naturally.

A Thoughtful, Grounded Approach

Before photography, my background was in organizational leadership and management, and that really shapes how I show up.

I think a few steps ahead. I plan with intention. I stay steady when things shift.

I’ll help you build a plan that feels solid without being rigid, so when your day comes, everything feels supported, but never forced.

For Families, As They Are

I’m especially drawn to elopements that reflect your life as it actually is right now.

Babies, kids, extended family, dogs - all of it is welcome here.

As a mom, I know our moments with family aren’t always perfectly polished, but they’re real in a way that matters so much more. The way your child reaches for you, your dad’s hand on your shoulder briefly, the small bits of chaos and connection - that’s the good stuff.

That’s what I’m there to document.

Guided by Care (in Land + People)

I’m deeply reverent of this island, and that comes with a responsibility to care for it.

I approach every elopement with a Leave No Trace mindset and guide my couples to do the same. We move through these places thoughtfully, stay mindful of our impact, and help preserve what makes them so special.

This also means creating an environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.

All love is celebrated here. All families are valid.

The Goal

More than anything, I want this to feel easy.

Like you can show up, be yourselves, and trust that everything is handled, because it is.
