Family-Friendly ACADIA ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

Guiding adventure-forward elopements where your day unfolds easefully and joyfully.

So you want to include your kids or other family members in your elopement?

I LOVE that! Eloping in Acadia doesn’t mean leaving your kids (or other family members!) behind or forcing your family into some unrealistic, forced timeline. It means choosing a more relaxed, flexible way to get married - one that makes room for real life, shared adventure, and meaningful moments together. Acadia is really the perfect National Park for a family-friendly epic elopement. Whether your children and family members are part of your ceremony or just part of the trip and experience, I help families create low-key, thoughtful elopement days that feel genuine, manageable, and true to who they are.

Hey, I’m Gina!

I’m a Maine-based elopement photographer specializing in family-friendly celebrations that are rooted in connection, adventure, and ease. I believe your wedding day should feel less like a performance and more like a meaningful experience: one where kids are welcome, plans are flexible, and real moments get to lead.

Living on Mount Desert Island year-round means I know Acadia inside and out, from quiet coastal corners to mossy forest trails and dramatic granite cliffs. With thoughtful planning, backup plans, and a calm, grounded presence on the day itself, I help families create wedding days that feel relaxed, intentional, and deeply true to who they are.

Gina, oh my goodness I cannot thank you enough!!!!! I had the most perfect wedding day!

This is for you if:

  • You want an elopement that includes your kids—without forcing them to perform

  • You prioritize having a good time and experiencing new things with your family over tradition and how things “should” be done

  • You value flexibility, flow, and real moments over rigid timelines

  • You want to explore Acadia at a pace that works for your family (kids, parents, grandparents, etc.)

  • You value how your day feels just as much as how your pictures will look

  • You want someone who can do the heavy lifting in planning, so you can relax

  • You appreciate someone with local knowledge who can guide you in choosing the best fit for your elopement based on your vibe

Worry bringing your kids along will detract from your day?

If you want your kids with you on your wedding day, I truly believe having them there adds to the magic—it doesn’t take away from it. Their presence brings spontaneity, laughter, and moments you could never plan for, and those moments often become the ones you remember most.

Does including kids add an extra layer to planning? Sometimes, yes, just like involving any people you care about. That’s where my role really comes in. I focus heavily on the front-end planning: choosing locations that work well for families, building flexible timelines with breathing room, and preparing thoughtful backup options so we can adapt as the day unfolds.

When the logistics are handled with intention, you’re free to do what actually matters -slow down, stay present, and enjoy time with your family while getting married in one of the most beautiful places in Acadia.

Let’s create an Acadia elopement that tells your story

Your elopement day doesn’t have to follow a script or look like anyone else’s. Whether your version of adventure includes snowshoeing through fresh powder, paddling a quiet lake, or keeping things simple so your kids can stay engaged and happy, we’ll design a day that reflects how your family actually spends time together. Living here year-round means I can help you find the right locations, timing, and backup plans to support whatever kind of experience feels true to you.

More than just capturing your Acadia elopement through documentary-style photography…

Planning an Acadia elopement, especially one that includes kids or family members, comes with a lot of moving parts. My role goes far beyond documenting your day. I help you design an experience that feels grounded, flexible, and genuinely enjoyable for everyone involved.

That means creating timelines that honor energy levels and seasons, choosing locations that balance beauty with accessibility, and building in space for real moments to unfold. I plan with intention and adaptability, so when Maine weather shifts or little humans need a break, it never feels like a problem—just part of the day.

From location scouting and backup plans to permits and officiant coordination if you want it, I take care of the logistics behind the scenes. You get to stay present, connected, and focused on what actually matters: celebrating your commitment, together, in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
